Course Tutors for The One Day MBA
Many of the speakers will be available during the day to chat and exchange ideas during the breaks. Questions are welcomed throughout.
Dr David Berger
Lucky fellow. He gets a whole page to himself here.
Andrew Spear
Partner, Lentells
Andrew is an experienced accountant
who specialises in medical practitioners
throughout the Southwest. He is a whizz
at making the complex understandable
and helping GPs help themselves to be
more profitable. He's also got an exceedingly
wry sense of humour. (No, really, he is an
accountant -- we've seen his certificate to prove it.) You can read more about him at the Lentells website.
Nigel Grinstead
Chief Executive Officer, About Health Group
Nigel is an entrepreneur in his own right who has worked in consultancy in the healthcare sector for over twenty years. There is nothing he doesn't know about negotiating his way through the forest of acronyms and bureaucracy which makes up the NHS. What's more he can translate it all so that normal people can understand it: a rare skill indeed. Read more about him at the About Health Group website, of which he is CEO.
Jim Mandeville
Jim has been a specialist medical accountant for over 21 years and is now an independent advisor and accountant for dispensing practices and he has phenomenal expertise in this area. He also advises on pharmacy matters, including assisting practices with applications. He is a mine of information, interestingly presented.
James Kraft
Managing Director, New Medical Ltd
James is American by birth, a Scouser by
marriage and a fluent German speaker. He
has been living in Europe since he got his
BA in economics from Stanford, working in
business development and operations,
initially in the technology and latterly in the healthcare industries. He has written more business plans than Imelda Marcos had shoes and many of them have even been funded. His sessions on business planning have been voted the most inspiring and interesting of all our sessions at The One Day MBA. If James can't motivate you to get a business plan going, then no-one can.
He is a deeply religious man -- he supports the Seattle Mariners baseball team.
